The crest alludes to
the symbol of Hubert, patron saint of hunters. The armiger chose
gold to represent the sun, light, wisdom, wealth and maturity;
silver to represent the moon, water, purity, loyalty, pearl and
cleanliness; red to represent Christ, fire, blood, passion, love,
bravery and power.
The arms signify the relations and duties of the fathers and the
ancestors of the Bimba family in relation to the forest. The sound
of the surname shows the health of the tree according to the sound
of the trunk by breaking it. In this way, the arms might be taken to
be canting arms.
